Salary Range: $80,000–$85,000 CAD

About The Opportunity Our client, a leading organization in the equipment rental and construction services sector, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee service and maintenance operations within a busy branch environment.
This leadership role is responsible for managing service technicians, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired, and supporting branch profitability through strong operational oversight. The Service Manager works closely with branch leadership to maintain high service standards, improve productivity, and deliver a strong customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and mentor a team of service technicians
Assign repair and maintenance work based on technician skills and workload
Manage repair and maintenance (R&M) budgets and monitor P&L performance
Monitor and improve service department productivity, efficiency, and quality
Oversee parts department operations and inventory management
Evaluate staff performance and coordinate ongoing technical training
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the service department
Support branch leadership with operational planning and service improvements
Perform Additional Duties As Required To Support Branch Operations The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience managing a service or maintenance team within equipment, mechanical, or industrial environments
Strong knowledge of equipment repair, shop operations, and service workflows
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Experience managing budgets and operational performance metrics
Ability to work collaboratively with branch leadership and support cross-functional teams
