What you’ll do: You will be responsible for delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here” through:
- P etroleum Delivery – responsible for carrying out fuel deliveries in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service to all Local Co-op employees and customers.
- Customer Contact - actively recruit new customers and ensure the customer contact program is maintained and that all customers receive the agreed-upon deliveries.
- Administration – responsible for assisting the Petroleum Manager to ensure the accuracy of all driver reports, bulk load, and pump reports.
- General duties - maintain and clean the delivery unit, keeping a record of all regular maintenance required, and scheduling appointments when needed.
- Have a 1A or at least a 3A driver’s licence – must possess a valid and clean 1A or a 3A Driver licence and maintain a valid licence throughout employment.
- Have petroleum product knowledge and experience hauling petroleum (preferred).
- Have average computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Are mechanically inclined and have basic automotive repair skills.
- Willing and able to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends including flexibility to work increased hours during peak seasons and be on call when required.
- Able to interact with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times.
- Maintain good physical condition, physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel.
Who you are: You desire a career in the petroleum industry and:
- Have a 1A or at least a 3A driver’s licence – must possess a valid and clean 1A or a 3A Driver licence and maintain a valid licence throughout employment.
- Have petroleum product knowledge and experience hauling petroleum (preferred).
- Have average computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Are mechanically inclined and have basic automotive repair skills.
- Willing and able to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends including flexibility to work increased hours during peak seasons and be on call when required.
