Shop Fabricator - (Afternoon Shift)
About the role
Job Summary
The Shop Fabricator is a unionized position under the United Association Local 853. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Removing finished product from the production line
- Reading and following dimension sheets
- Operating die threading machines
- Stack and bundle pipe using overhead crane
- Quality control of finished products
- Other shop duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Experience operating an overhead crane
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Certified welder would be an asset
- Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience an asset
- Must be able to work afternoon shift
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Able to take charge and lead by example
- Ability to use measuring devises
