#####Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Assistant to support GoHealth BC.
The Assistant, GoHealth BC supports the GoHealth BC department’s Travel Resource Pool. The Assistant, GoHealth BC supports the travel resource pool by coordinating the travel of health care team members from across Canada – including travel, accommodation, and processing related expenses – as they provide services within Northern Health service delivery area. Working closely with GoHealth BC management, the Assistant, will also gather quantitative and qualitative data to support and participate in change and improvement processes related to both the GoHealth BC.
Starting salary will be approximately from $49,445 to $61,806 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
#####Qualifications

Grade 12 supplemented by successful completion of an administrative diploma.

Three (3) to five (5) years progressive administrative assistant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to respond to staff needs and resolve staff issues.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment.
-
Computer literate with proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, general ability to navigate online sites and platforms, and capable of learning organizational systems.

Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal direction and work independently.

Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities, demands and deadlines.

Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.

Professional telephone and email manner.

Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.

Strong time-management skills.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
