Production Team Leader  Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan

Our Production Team Leaders build the foundation of our business.  They  engage their teams, keep employees safe and operations running smoothly! If you’re a leader at heart, have production experience and want to make a real impact , come join us! 

We’re looking for a Production Team leader  to join our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) mill located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Meadow Lake employs 155 employees and safely and sustainably produces 680 million square feet of OSB every year  for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.  

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: 

  • Completion of grade 12.
  • Completion of post-secondary education and/or a supervisory or leadership certificate is an asset.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience within a manufacturing setting with wood products manufacturing preferred .
  • 2 - 3 years' experience leading a team .
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively across teams.
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions as needed.
  • Optimize productivity and recovery .
  • Lead by example and set the bar for those around you by inspiring, coaching and developing your team .
  • Work with your team to meet production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels .
  • Identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues .
  • Ensure work is done safely and according to safety procedures.

  • The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 - $107,000 per year.
  • You'll earn an additional  northern allowance  on top of your base pay.
  • You’ll be eligible to participate in Tolko’s  bonus program.
  • Youll be eligible for excellent benefits  and access to our  retirement plan .
  • You may also be eligible for relocation support including community connections so you can live (and play) where you work.
  • Youll be supported in continued development  through on the job and classroom training and reimbursement of tuition and membership fees.
