SUMMARY
Operate audio and lighting equipment during and before the Yuk Yuk’s shows. Control time and light for the comedians. Ensure the performance is running and ending on time, as well as make necessary announcements.

- Ability to work Thursday – Saturday Evenings/Nights
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professional interaction with other departments.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and team members.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area.
- Minor audio equipment repairs.
- Stick with strict time limits to keep the show at 90 minutes.
- Develop a professional relationship with comedians to ensure the following of timing and cues
- Turn on/off amps and lights.
- Operate mixer, CD player, microphone, and lighting prior, during and after the show.
- Make necessary announcements and introductions over the microphone.
- Turn off equipment properly, store microphone and cords at the end of the show and close the audio booth securely.
- Ability to react quickly, and calmly if any audio or lighting equipment’s has issues.
- All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of audio/lighting equipment required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret all types of documents in English.
Listening Skills
Excellent heading skills required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic problem-solving skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to address technical difficulties with audio and lighting equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
