As an Administrative Assistant - Pre-Construction, you are passionate about the construction industry and have a strong sense of customer service excellence and a people-focused attitude. Under the supervision of the Pre Construction Manager, you will put your skills to work and provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure tenders are completed in a timely and efficient manner. What YOU Will Do

Support the estimating team with administrative duties including job closing

Assist with pre-construction tasks for design/build and special projects

Collaborate with project leads to coordinate bond & insurance applications for tenders
-
Order, review, file and distribute project drawings, specifications and addenda as required
-
Effectively use CMiC & Salesforce to generate & update opportunities, accounts, and various reports

Create corporate user accounts and manage & maintain trade partners on subcontractor database
-
Sort, distribute, and catalog trade partner submissions for tenders

Organize and maintain preconstruction files

Perform general administrative duties as required
What YOU Will Bring
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a similar role
- Post-secondary education in Office or Legal Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience
- Experience with construction, estimating and/or knowledge of contracts is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of Smartbid and CMiC is an asset
