Job Description:
The Organization Effectiveness Centre of Excellence (CoE) at TD is dedicated to advancing organizational design and effectiveness, shaping the Future of Work, and driving Colleague Listening strategies. The CoE supports enterprise-wide initiatives, partnering with HR and business leaders to enable business strategy and sustained performance.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the AVP, Organization Effectiveness, the Practice Optimization Lead will drive operational excellence and capability building across the CoE’s three pillars: Organizational Design & Effectiveness, Future of Work, and Colleague Listening. In alignment with TD’s new strategy, this role is accountable for enabling more simplistic and disciplined execution of CoE initiatives, managing core processes, supporting strategic projects, and identifying opportunities to leverage AI for enhanced efficiency.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee and continuously improve core CoE processes, including work tracking, prioritization, budget management, and annual calendar planning, with a focus on simplifying execution and driving disciplined operational practices.
- Lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects that enhance CoE capability, such as designing and managing a Learning calendar, building new frameworks, and supporting transformation initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions to automate and streamline CoE processes, driving efficiency, innovation, and future readiness.
- Enhance and evolve the CoE’s operating model by applying operational discipline, leveraging data and analytics, and leading transformation initiatives that support organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain robust work tracking and prioritization systems to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Build out CoE capability through the design and delivery of learning programs, peer coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with CoE pillar leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of practice management standards.
- Utilize metrics and analytics to inform process improvements, measure outcomes, and support data-driven decision making.
- Ensure adherence to TD’s governance policies and best practices in all practice management activities.
- Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and capability development within the CoE.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally within financial services or consulting; knowledge of TD’s business is an asset.
- Proven consulting background, with experience navigating ambiguity and operating effectively in complex, dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from conception to execution.
- University degree in HR, organizational development, business management, or related discipline; advanced education in AI, process automation, or organization design is an asset.
- Deep expertise in AI technologies, process improvement methodologies, and automation.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CoE operating models, especially in work tracking, prioritization, data/analytics, and capability building.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to synthesize data and present actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant AI/process automation tools.
- Commitment to inclusiveness and continuous learning.
