Paladin Security is Hiring a Scheduling Coordinator! Location: Halifax, NS (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Join our Atlantic Operations team as a Scheduling Coordinator , where you'll play a key role in ensuring employee and client schedules run smoothly. You will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and filling open shifts while keeping clear communication with employees, clients, and site leadership across the Atlantic region.
This position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and action employee and client schedules.
- Generate and manage call lists and open shift lists to meet coverage requirements.
- Make outgoing calls to off-duty employees to schedule and confirm shifts.
- Record and track scheduling statistics, ensuring casual employees remain active.
- Maintain employee availability records and update inactive employee lists.
- Ensure compliance with coverage requirements and site-specific priorities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, clients, and site leadership.
Requirements Must Have Criteria (Requirements)
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
- Fluent in English with clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed and confident under pressure (e.g., emergency situations).
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
