About the role
TSG STAFFING SERVICES is recruiting for a DRAFTSPERSON (MULTI-DISCIPLINE) for an opportunity in the Greater Calgary Area in an Operating Plant environment.
Job Description:
- Updating existing AutoCAD drawings based on marked-up drawings
- Creating new drawings as required and drafting of equipment in 2D drawing environments
- Coordinating and completing all flowsheets such as PFDs, P&IDs & MSDs for all projects
- Preparation of instrumentation and electrical drawings for construction work packages
- As-Built drawing updates for project closures
- A combination of working in on-site (primarily) and off-site environments for project effectiveness with regards to project phase, schedule, cost and quality
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years drafting experience
- Experience in heavy industrial, turnaround environments
- Proficiency using AutoCAD 2
- Competent in the use of all P&ID software modules in order to assist in the drafting and design within the system and train others
- Experience with Intergraph Smartplant Instrumentation (InTools) is an asset
- Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code and/ or National Electrical Codes
- Diploma in Engineering Technology from a recognized technical institute is an asset
