About the role
Are you highly organized, calm under pressure, and confident in your communication skills? GardaWorld is currently hiring a Temporary Branch Scheduler to help support our frontline security operations and ensure smooth day-to-day coverage across multiple sites.
As part of our operational backbone, you will play a key role in coordinating schedules, supporting employees and clients, and helping maintain efficient staffing operations throughout Winnipeg.
This is a temporary full-time position starting as soon as the right candidate is identified and ending September 1, 2026.

Responsibilities
- Create and manage shift schedules across Winnipeg and rural locations within Manitoba
- Ensure all client sites maintain proper coverage per contractual requirements
- Use scheduling software to input, update, and manage staffing data
- Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly with employees
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize overtime and resolve staffing gaps
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with labor standards
- Assist with general administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Clean criminal background check
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative support
- Experience in security, healthcare, or emergency services is considered an asset
- Familiarity with scheduling and workforce management systems (WinTeam, Kronos, etc.) is an asset
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Comfortable learning and navigating scheduling platforms and databases
Core Competencies
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Availability for occasional after-hours support, as needed
