Kiwanis Nursing Home is a compassionate, resident-centered nursing home dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a supportive, home-like environment. By joining us, you will be joining approximately 150 other caring and amazing staff members in our 100-bed home in Sussex.
We currently have full-time and casual vacancies for Registered Nurses (RNs)!
Our Registered Nurses/Case Managers assume responsibility for total nursing care of all the nursing home residents and coordinate employee work assignments per shift. Our Case Managers prepare resident care plans to ensure a holistic approach to care, utilizing the education, training, and experience of our staff members.
Our care team consists of a dynamic group of RNs, LPNs, RA's (PSW), Environmental Services, and Dietary staff members, who are committed to providing the highest quality of care in a safe and home-like environment. The care team works together to ensure individual resident needs and well being are met.
What we can offer you:

Pension – Employer contribution of 2.633 times the Employee Contributions. Employee Contributions: 5.3% of earnings up to the YMPE under CPP and 7% of earnings in excess of YMPE

NB Nursing Retention Bonus:
Kiwanis Nursing Home is offering a retention bonus payment of up to $15,000 for any registered nurses and licensed practical nurses employed in permanent positions with us. You may be eligible for this bonus.
Student Loan Forgiveness: Kiwanis Nursing Home is located in a community designated for Canada Student Loan forgiveness, and you may be eligible for up to $20,000 in loan forgiveness if you meet Canada Student Loan requirements (you must apply separately).

Experience in Geriatrics is considered an asset.

Flexibility to work all types of shifts available (days, evenings, nights)

The successful candidate will be required to complete a medical, vulnerable sector check, and Department of Social Development background check as a condition of employment.
