About the role
En tant que représentant associé - Ventes internes, vous interagirez avec les clients existants, principalement par téléphone et par courriel, afin d'augmenter les ventes des produits et/ou services de la société en obtenant et en augmentant les commandes, en créant la satisfaction du client et en ajoutant de la valeur à l'expérience d'achat du client. Vous collaborerez avec les ventes externes pour vous assurer que les objectifs sont atteints.
Responsabilités:
- Obtenir des commandes par courriel et par téléphone, vérifier et saisir les articles, transférer les commandes à l'exécution, expliquer les ruptures de stock et les dates de livraison prévues.
- Augmenter les commandes en suggérant des articles connexes, en expliquant les caractéristiques et en vérifiant l'historique d'achat du client.
- Avec l'aide d'un conseiller, possède, qualifie et développe les opportunités provenant du marketing, des ventes externes et des comptes nationaux.
- Préparer, générer et assurer le suivi des devis verbaux ou écrits afin d'obtenir des commandes, ou déterminer la raison de la perte d'une commande.
- Examiner les rapports sur les commandes en cours des clients et prendre des mesures concernant les articles en cours, y compris ceux qui risquent de ne pas respecter la date de livraison promise par le client.
- Tenir à jour le rapport sur les commandes en souffrance du système de distribution, le rapport et les avis d'expédition des clients qui y sont associés, ainsi que les avis aux clients.
- Signaler à la direction les tendances du secteur, les prix de la concurrence et les réactions des clients.
Qualifications:
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent requis ; un baccalauréat est préférable.
- Connaissances et expérience privilégiées dans le domaine de la vente et de l'administration des ventes ; encore en train d'acquérir des connaissances et des compétences de niveau supérieur, mais toujours un contributeur professionnel productif (0-2 ans).
- Familiarité avec Microsoft Office, et capacité à effectuer des tâches informatiques de base.
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément.
- Capacité à travailler en équipe.
- Capacité à communiquer clairement, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
- Souci du détail.
- Capacité à prospecter et à commercialiser des concepts auprès de comptes existants et potentiellement nouveaux.
- Capacité à prendre des mesures et à résoudre des problèmes courants ou standard.
- Capacité à identifier et à définir les problèmes et les solutions possibles de manière indépendante ; choix parmi les solutions existantes.
- Capacité à travailler de manière autonome sous supervision.

As an Associate Representative - Inside Sales, you will interact with existing customers, primarily by phone and email, to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains orders through email and telephone calls, verifies and enters items, transfers orders to fulfillment, explains stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
- Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customer’s buying history.
- With guidance, owns, qualifies and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
- Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.
- Reviews open customer order reports and takes action on open items, including those items that may be at risk in meeting customer’s promised delivery date.
- Maintains distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification.
- Reports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.
Qualifications:

High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills, however still a productive professional contributor (0-2 years).

Familiar with Microsoft Office, and ability to perform basic computer skills

Compensation Details $21.21 - $26.51 Per Hour
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
