As the Senior Director, Data Engineering and Calgary Innovation Lab Lead, you will be responsible for leading the data engineering team and driving innovation in our Calgary lab. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the development and implementation of data engineering solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data capabilities.
- Leading a team of data engineers and providing mentorship.
- Driving strategic initiatives to improve data quality and accessibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with cloud technologies and big data platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
