Position: Phylogenetics QA Reviewer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $55–$80/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

Review and quality-check challenging phylogenetics and evolutionary-biology problems. Verify correctness, scientific rigor, and clarity of data for AI model training and evaluation. Conduct multiple independent reviews to ensure accuracy and depth. Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and model performance. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model outputs.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD or advanced degree in Evolutionary Biology, Phylogenetics, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or Ecology & Evolution. Strong reviewing / QA instincts. High attention to detail. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
