What You’ll Be Doing: As a Centralized Services Technician focused on Backups and Onboarding, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and continuity of our clients’ IT environments. You’ll ensure reliable data protection through SPX, Datto, and DropSuite backup platforms, and manage onboarding and offboarding processes for both customers and internal team members. You’ll oversee Microsoft licensing, domain/DNS/SSL renewals, and administer ProofPoint for email security. Your work will support seamless transitions, secure infrastructure, and compliance across our managed services. You’ll also collaborate with other technicians to document processes, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement through automation and centralized tools.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Ensure data backups are functional and maintain data integrity using SPX, Datto, and DropSuite platforms.
- Coordinate and execute customer onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to security protocols.
- Manage internal onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account provisioning, access control, and documentation updates.
- Administer Microsoft licensing across client and internal environments, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee domain, DNS, and SSL certificate renewals to maintain uninterrupted service and security posture.
- Manage and maintain ProofPoint services for email security, spam filtering, and threat protection.
- Collaborate with onboarding personnel to ensure successful integration of new clients into Yardstick’s systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation across all Yardstick technology environments.
- Participate in projects and provide high-level support for escalated issues and outages as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years working within a Reactive Services or Centralized Services Department.
- 2+ years working within a Windows Server Environment.
- 2+ years working with Azure Cloud Services.
- 1+ years working as a Onboarding or Offboarding Technical Resource.
- Experience with On-Premises and Cloud Backup Software.
- Experience with Hardware Virtualization.
- AZ-900, MS-900, or similar certifications.
