About the Role:
The Installer is responsible for the professional and safe installation of various dispensers and related equipment at customer locations. This includes removing outdated systems, testing new installations for proper function, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The Installer is a key customer-facing representative of the Swish brand and plays an important role in delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely install chemical dispensers (e.g., hand soap, hand sanitizer) and paper dispensers (e.g., paper towels, bathroom tissue) at customer locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Deliver a seamless, friendly, and professional experience for all Swish customers.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas; safely remove and dispose of debris or outdated dispensers, leaving customer sites in improved condition.
  • Proactively communicate customer feedback to the appropriate Swish sales or logistics teams.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) guidelines.
  • Accurately track and report hours worked and mileage incurred.

Working Conditions:

  • High-intensity physical activity
  • Frequent exposure to temperature variations, noise, and handling chemicals
  • Regular lifting of products exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Work performed while standing, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
  • Exposure to moderately disagreeable internal and external environments
  • Work in non-air-conditioned, heated spaces

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an Installation or Service role is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and safely in physically demanding environments.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.

The role

  • Location: Barrie, Ontario
  • Wage: Starting at $20-23/hour (depending on skills and experience)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, between 8AM and 5PM
  • Type: Casual / Part-Time (On-Call) - This is an on-call position where work is scheduled as needed, typically with about one week’s notice. To start, expect roughly 1 job per week (about 5 hours), with potential for more hours over time. This role may grow to include basic dispenser repair support.
