About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Outsource Vendor Service to oversee and optimize our network of outsourced transportation partners, with a strong focus on taxi and stretcher (non-emergency medical transportation) providers.

In this role, you will ensure vendors consistently deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services while meeting contractual, regulatory, and performance expectations. You will play a key role in strengthening vendor partnerships, improving service outcomes, and supporting efficient, patient- and customer-centered operations.

What You’ll Do

Vendor & Performance Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with outsourced taxi, stretcher and other outsource transportation vendors
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and quality standards
  • Conduct vendor performance reviews, audits, and scorecards
  • Address service issues, escalations, and corrective action plans

Contract, Cost & Operational Oversight

  • Support vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and negotiations in collaboration with internal partners
  • Review and validate vendor invoices; investigate discrepancies and cost trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness

Compliance, Safety & Risk

  • Ensure vendors meet all licensing, insurance, regulatory, and safety requirements
  • Oversee compliance with stretcher transport, patient handling, and accessibility standards
  • Support incident investigations and follow-up actions related to safety or service concerns

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with Operations and Accounting departments
  • Support capacity planning to meet service demand, including peak periods
  • Contribute to process improvements, vendor best practices, and standardization initiatives

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare regular performance, compliance, and cost reports for leadership
  • Analyze trends in on-time performance, cancellations, complaints, and vendor utilization

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, transportation operations, or outsourced services
  • Proven experience managing service providers in regulated or compliance-driven environments
  • Strong contract, performance management, and analytical skill
  • Experience working with stretcher or non-emergency medical transportation providers
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and accessibility standards
  • Experience managing multiple vendors across different service areas

DRIVERS Our drivers are professional, courteous and always ready to assist their passengers. With their CPR certification and defensive driving training, they provide door-to-door concierge style service, unparalleled in the industry. We monitor all driver abstracts to ensure that our drivers have clean driving records.

Our customer service team conducts regular quality checks with our customers on the drivers’ performance. Any driver who violates our concierge service regulations must immediately repeat our training course. Our software and logistics systems ensure our drivers arrive at appointments on time.
