Key Responsibilities

  • Field inquiries regarding the Pesticide program, training materials and delivery, tutorials and exams
  • Maintain inventory of program and informative materials
  • Maintain database of continuing education credits, courses, and certificates.
  • Generate and distribute certificates
  • Coordinate exam sittings with students and proctors
  • Evaluate applicator renewal applications
  • Handling complaints and directing to appropriate levels

Job Requirements

  • Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field
  • Two years of correlating experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite package
  • Strong problem-solving skills in an environment with unforeseen events and challenges
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle conflict and cope with deadline pressures

Additional Information

This is a Casual AUPE appointment (up to 36.25 hours a week) on the Vermilion campus commencing November 10, 2025 and ending April 30, 2026.
