We are looking for a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team and help us continue providing top-tier electrical services. Position Overview: Ingonish Electrical Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dependable Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across a variety of residential and light commercial projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative work environment. This position also plays an important role in supporting the development of apprentices and helping maintaining a high standard of workmanship across the team. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications Coordinate work with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades Provide guidance and direction to apprentices on job sites Support skill development within the crew and help maintain consistent quality of work Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Assist with planning and executing electrical work on construction and development projects Key Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification (required). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and safety practices. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented work environment. Experience mentoring or overseeing apprentices is considered an asset. Experience in residential and commercial construction is considered an asset. Accurate, client focus, dependable Effective interpersonal skills, flexible, reliable, and hardworking.
