Marketing Coordinator – Retail Marketing
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives across our owned retail locations. This role is primarily focused on internal coordination—ensuring that campaign timelines, creative assets, and vendor deliverables are managed effectively so our store teams can focus on execution. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in keeping retail campaigns on track, from creative development to distribution and reporting.
MARKETING COORDINATOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate timelines for campaign artwork, vendor deliverables, and internal approvals.
- Track the flow of creative assets from development through to final production.
- Manage the distribution of marketing materials, POS assets, and promotional collateral to stores via internal channels.
- Ensure store teams receive clear and timely communication packages for campaign execution.
Cross-Functional Support
- Assist brand and sales teams in aligning campaign plans with retail priorities.
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and vendors to ensure materials are produced and delivered on schedule.
- Maintain and update internal campaign calendars and status trackers for visibility across teams.
- Coordinate SNDL product support and education with internal teams to improve budtender understanding and product knowledge.
Social Media & Content Support
- Support social media planning for owned retail, including scheduling content and sharing store-level assets.
- Organize content submissions from stores for potential use on social channels.
- Assist in ensuring brand consistency across digital and retail touchpoints.
Reporting & Administration
- Collect and organize post-campaign feedback and reporting from store and sales teams.
- Track key campaign metrics such as material distribution, execution completion, and social performance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase campaign efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1–3 years of marketing or project coordination experience (retail, CPG, or agency experience an asset).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello) is an asset.
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
