Registered Nurse - Medical Withdrawal Service
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medical Withdrawal Service. We are seeking a part-time, temporary (1 year) Registered Nurse (RN) to join this supportive and collaborative team. MWS serves adult clients with severe substance use and/or complex pain disorders plus mental health and chronic medical conditions, who require medically-supervised withdrawal and initiation of medications to stabilize their conditions and support their recovery. Using principles of harm reduction and measurement-based care, Registered Nurses are an essential part of this interprofessional team. You will continuously assess and support clients’ physiological stability, mental status, risks, functional ability, stage of change, coping skills and motivation.
