This role is for experienced UAT testers/consultants to support a Commercial Auto insurance transformation leveraging Guidewire. You'll lead end-to-end UAT and post-deployment testing across underwriting, claims, and finance, collaborating with business and IT teams to ensure high-quality, real-world solutions are delivered.

Description
- You'll work with business and IT teams to design and execute a UAT framework across underwriting, claims, and finance. Responsibilities include planning and running UAT and post-deployment testing, supporting production validation, analyzing system impacts, and helping communicate changes across teams. Ideal candidates bring strong insurance knowledge, hands-on testing experience, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Acceptance Testing (PAT), ensuring proper methodology, documentation, and traceability
- Develop test strategies, plans, and scenarios that reflect real-world, end-to-end business processes
- Facilitate walkthroughs of test artifacts with Business and IT for feedback and sign-off
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with business risk and system impact
- Support post-implementation review and issue resolution
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Underwriting, Claims, and Finance to understand business needs and system dependencies
- Analyze requirements to assess downstream/upstream system impact and business implications
- Contribute to solution design by applying best practices and helping teams explore viable options
- Communicate system changes to management, trainers, and team leads
- Provide technical support by documenting issues and coordinating resolution across teams
Profile
- Post-secondary education in Business or Information Technology
- 5+ years in UAT, QA testing, or operational P&C insurance roles
- Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter), SmartCOMM, or BMS preferred
- Familiarity with Commercial Auto products, especially:
- Fleet-rated policies (e.g., 21A / 21B)
- Individually Rated Commercial Auto (IRCA)
- Long Haul Trucking (LHT)
- Broker and MGA models, including bordereau reporting
- Strong skills in data analysis, backfilling, and conceptual/logical modeling
- Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with large-scale insurance transformation projects
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- CIP, CRM, CBAP, CAPM, PMP certifications are an asset.
