Qualifications:
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum, environment and assessment
- Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently
The Preferred Candidate will have:
- Familiarity and experience with Northern issues
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- Minimum of five years of successful administrative
- Experience at the elementary, middle, and secondary years level
- Graduate academic training in school administration
- Strong instructional leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong commitment to the schools plus/community schools and safe schools concept
