As a Service Support Assistant, you are treated as a crucial part of our service experience and are responsible for the final step of the Service Department’s interaction with the customer. You will clean and detail equipment to ensure it is presented to customers in pristine condition.
Wash and Detail Equipment:Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of Agriculture and Turf equipment and maintain a steady flow of through the wash bay.
Inspect Equipment: Perform inspections on washed equipment to maintain high-quality standards.
General Maintenance: Perform general cleaning and maintenance for the shop, building, and yard.
Wash Bay: Keep the wash bay clean and organized, including cleaning tools and equipment after each use.
Pick Up and Deliver Equipment: Transport equipment to and from the shop as required.
Team Support: Provide assistance to the Shop Foreman and Service Technicians when needed.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Experience: Detailing experience with the ability to operate equipment including a commercial pressure washer and other hand/power tools. Previous experience with farm equipment is an asset.
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail, adaptable with excellent time management skills, and a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
Valid Driver's License: You'll need this for operating equipment and occasional service deliveries and pick-ups.
