POSITION: Senior P6 Scheduler (Onsite – 14/14 Rotation, Southern Alberta)

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking Senior P6 Schedulers to join our project team for an onsite assignment in Southern Alberta. This position will operate on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule, working from a camp-based project site.
As a Senior Scheduler, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and reporting on project schedules for complex industrial projects. You will work closely with Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure accurate progress tracking and alignment with project objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for all phases of project execution.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and discipline leads to identify schedule risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct critical path and resource analysis to support proactive decision-making.
- Maintain earned value metrics and provide accurate progress reporting to project leadership and clients.
- Support project forecasting, change management, and schedule integration across disciplines.
- Lead schedule reviews with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure transparency and consistency.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior schedulers and project team members.
- Support cost and performance reporting in alignment with overall project controls processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project scheduling within industrial or EPCM environments.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
- Strong understanding of project execution, construction sequencing, and field coordination.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial projects preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based team environment with multiple stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Location: Southern Alberta
- Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off rotation (camp accommodation provided)
- Employment Type: Hourly employee with benefits or Independent Contractor arrangement
- Work Environment: Onsite, field-based role requiring collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
