Job Title: Claim Specialist, Airline Repair

Reports to: Senior Manager, Airline Repair

Location: Remote

Overview

As an Airline Claim Specialist, you’ll be the main point of contact for airline partners, passenger’s and vendors. Your focus is helping resolve claims related to damaged mobility equipment by communicating clearly, staying organized, and finding effective solutions.

What That Actually Involves

  • Respond to airline,passengerand vendor inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Manage mobility equipment claims from intake to resolution
  • Coordinate with airlines, passengers, vendors, and manufacturers
  • Research vendors and solutions to resolve claims efficiently
  • Accurately document claim details, notes, and supporting documents
  • Prepare work orders, purchase orders, quotes, and invoices

What You Will Need

  • 3+ years of customer service experience (claims experience is an asset)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm and professional in all situations

  • Excellent attention to detail and superior organization skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM

  • Bilingual French or Spanish is an asset

  • Flexibility isrequired, including evenings,weekendsand statutory holidays

Essential Job Functions and Requirements

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to10–15 pounds independently.
    • Ability to sit andworkat acomputerworkstationfor extended periods
    • Visual ability to read and interpret information on a computer screen forextendedperiod.
    • Ability to hear and speak clearly to communicate effectively whileinputingdata accurately
  • Communication & Collaboration Requirements:

    • Active participation in virtual meetings is an essential function of this role. The employee must be able to consistently engage in scheduled video calls, presentations, and team discussions using various video conferencing platforms.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks andshiftingpriorities with attention to detail and responsiveness.
    • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Remote Work Requirements:

    • Must have access to a reliable internet connection andmaintaina professional, distraction-free remote work environmentwhen working remotely.
    • Must be available during assigned shifts unless otherwise approved by management.
  • Technology Use:

    • Ability tooperatea computer,keyboard,phone/headset, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
    • Proficiencyor willingness to learn digital platforms for communication, documentation, and task management.
  • Attendance and Time Commitment:

    • Regular, predictable attendance isrequired.
    • Timely responsiveness and presence during scheduled virtual meetings and operational check-ins are expected.
