Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Planning Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the availability and inventory management of parts for our fleet of Aircraft. You will collaborate with various teams, including procurement, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure that the right parts are available at the right time to support our fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, supply chain management, and a passion for optimizing processes to maximize efficiency.

  • Analyze historical data, demand patterns, and fleet usage to forecast parts requirements accurately.

  • Develop and maintain inventory models and systems to optimize the availability of critical parts while minimizing excess inventory and stock-outs.

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely procurement of parts, considering lead times, supplier capabilities, and pricing.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams to streamline the flow of parts from suppliers to the appropriate fleet locations, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing transportation costs.

  • Monitor and evaluate parts usage and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance parts planning and inventory management efficiency.

  • Conduct regular audits to validate inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand their needs, feedback, and recommendations regarding parts availability and quality.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in fleet parts planning and supply chain management.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within the fleet management or transportation industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques.

  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, and demand planning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with fleet management systems and maintenance practices is a plus.

Occupational Health and Safety:

  • Reporting hazards (such as unsafe situations and activities) to their supervisor immediately.

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:

Position requires Level II clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
