About the role
On behalf of our Client, Procom is actively seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant for a 6 month (to start) remote contract.
Senior SAP FICO Consultant Job Details
- Analyze business and financial requirements and translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Configure and maintain SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Design and support integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS), Plant Maintenance (PM), and ISU-FICA.
- Develop functional specifications for system enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms, working closely with technical teams to implement solutions.
- Provide production support and issue resolution, including troubleshooting system issues and resolving support tickets.
- Support financial operations, including month-end and year-end closing processes
- Participate in full lifecycle SAP initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Lead or support integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
- Develop and support custom reports and financial analytics solutions to enable improved financial insights and decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and improve financial processes.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, process documentation, and training materials.
- Deliver end-user training and change management support to ensure successful adoption of SAP solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements across SAP finance platforms
- Senior SAP FICO Consultant Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, including configuration and production support.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and SAP Finance processes.
- Experience integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as SD, PS, PM, or ISU-FICA.
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments, including system enhancements, upgrades, testing activities, and ongoing application sustainment.
- Proven experience in business process analysis, solution design, and functional documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting financial reporting and automation initiatives'
Senior SAP FICO Consultant Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Concur (travel and expense management) integration with SAP.
- Experience with OneStream for financial planning, consolidation, and reporting.
- Experience with Coupa procurement and expense management platforms and their integration with SAP finance systems.
Senior SAP FICO Consultant Assignment Location Canada - Remote (Occasional site visits)
Senior SAP FICO Consultant Assignment Length 6 months (High possibility of extension)
