About the Role:
As the Senior Product Manager, you will the strategy and outcomes for our residential rental listing marketplace. You’ll lead the multi-year roadmap for search & discovery, SEO/GEO-driven growth, map experiences, and listing quality. You will be partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Revenue. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will steward P&L-level impact and dive deep partnerships, UI/UX, core web metrics, and information architecture.
This is a hybrid/remote opportunity, all qualified candidates in Canada are encouraged to apply, however preferential consideration may be given to applicants who can report to Rentsync's office 2 days per week.
**What You’ll Do:**Set Vision & Strategy:
- Define the end-to-end product vision for listings discovery, conversion, and supply quality; tie it directly to growth and marketplace liquidity.
- Establish a compound SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and programmatic)
- Build and execute a GEO strategy: how our content, entities, and evidence are surfaced and cited inside generative results (AI Overviews, Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT plug-ins/browsing).
Deliver Impact:
- Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and utilize customer data to identify new product opportunities and improve existing offerings.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data) to align, develop, and execute product initiatives.
- Prioritize product features and tasks based on user needs, business goals, and measurable impact.
- Communicate product plans, progress updates, and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and incorporate feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Create detailed, high-quality product specifications and documentation.
- Lead user research initiatives to gather insights and inform product improvements.
- Set, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Ensure timely delivery of product milestones, managing trade-offs effectively.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting growth in product design and management skills.
- Champion a customer-centric approach to maximize product value, innovation, and utility.
- Drive data-driven decisions, optimize post-launch product performance, and proactively solve challenges.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying and prioritizing product features and opportunities.
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to interpret data trends and customer behaviors.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex product ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of product strategy development, roadmapping, and project management tools.
- Proactive, with demonstrated ability to quickly drive momentum and rapid iteration.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, adept at aligning cross-functional teams towards common strategic goals.
- Comfort and capability in navigating ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of workplace product management experience, ideally in a consumer-facing technology or proptech company.
- Proven track record in launching successful products and managing their lifecycle effectively.
- Experience in conducting thorough market research, competitive analyses, and leveraging customer insights.
- Demonstrated capability in leading cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data.
- Experience mentoring and developing team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in real estate or Marketing syndication verticals
- Technical familiarity with API documentation and prototyping
- Familiarity with Figma Design/ After effects, Miro/Lucid charts
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience with AI prompt engineering
