SCOPE
Management of the tote reconditioning warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITY
- MAINTENANCE OF THE TOTE RECONDITIONING WAREHOUSE.
- Responsible for equipment performance review to justify repairs or replacement of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all the equipment (pumps, hoses, tanks, forklifts, floors, piping and retaining walls.
- ASSEMBLING OF ORDERS
- Manages the reconditioning of totes and ensures that branches have the required amounts.
- Manages receiving cleaning products and waste removal.
- Ensure storage of all unfinished and finished totes
- Responsible for the effective use of all warehouse space.
- Work with the Calgary Operation and Production Managers to determine operational requirements for the Calgary Plant.
- Works with the Production and Transportation Managers regarding the shipping out of totes to the branches.
- MANAGEMENT OF STAFF ATTACHED TO TOTE RECONDITIONING DEPARTMENT.
- Responsible for ensuring all tote reconditioning employees are trained in the processes and procedures of their department according to Boss Quality Standards.
- Responsible for the safe operational training of tote reconditioning employees.
- Responsible for the performance reviews of all tote reconditioning employees.
- Work with Human Resources for staffing changes or concerns.
- Uses a variety of different forms of communication with staff, management and other Boss employees.
- Responsible for the improvement of tote reconditioning productions, service to branches, quality of totes and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure all procedures and forms are followed and filled out correctly.
- Responsible for the analysis of staffing and warehousing.
- ADMINISTRATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT
- Produce accurate paperwork, reports and logs as required in a timely manner.
- Ensure all Boss Quality Management Forms are filled out properly by employees.
- SAFETY
- Encourage continued adherence to safety practices within the workplace and address safety issues or concerns with the entire production team.
- Ensure the entire production team operates safely and that they undertake appropriate safety training as required.
- Identifies work-place safety hazards and advises the Safety Advisor.
- Other duties as required.
