The Opportunity We are seeking a charismatic, polished, and highly capable Creative Director & Interior Design Manager to be the face of our client's experience and the operational backbone of their design process. This is a pivotal leadership role for a go-getter who possesses a unique blend of high-end design taste, strategic business savvy, and a fun, lighthearted personality.
You will act as the vital bridge between clients and the design team. You'll lead onboarding calls, listen intently to client needs, and ensure the final designs not only meet expectations but also capture the essence of what makes their work unique. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Design Leadership
- Lead client onboarding calls, enthusiastically walking through floor plans and mood boards to present the interior and exterior design vision.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, taking their feedback, validating their concerns, and resolving any issues with confidence and compassion.
- Serve as the final eye on all client-facing designs, partnering closely with head designers to ensure every detail is cohesive, consistent, and reflective of the client's personality.
- Use your expertise in design trends to advise clients on what works in specific markets (e.g., neon signs, wallpaper) and help them understand how the designs will help their properties succeed.
Design Strategy & Execution
- Possess a bold, high-end design taste and the strategic mindset to translate different styles and locations into unique design plans.
- Be able to design a room yourself if needed, providing hands-on creative input and support to the team.
- Work to ensure the details from client onboarding calls are accurately executed in the final designs, acting as a project manager for the creative process.
- Utilize Miro to fill out design specs and walk clients through the design process.
Operational Management & Coordination
- Manage a wide range of internal and external coordination tasks, ensuring all projects stay on track.
- Use internal systems, including Google Sheets, to track project details with an extreme level of organization and attention to detail.
- Lead the hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members and manage performance as needed.
What You Bring
- Experience: Significant experience as a Creative Director from an agency or in a similar leadership role within interior design or short-term rentals.
- Design Expertise: A portfolio that showcases high-end, bold, and unique design work. A deep understanding of design trends and how to apply them to different markets.
- Communication Skills: Perfect, professional English with the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and de-escalate tough conversations with grace.
- Leadership & Culture: A strong leader with compassion, fun, and a lightheartedness that helps build a great team culture. You are a boss who can also inspire.
- Business Acumen: An understanding of US culture and markets (especially Arizona), and a strategic mindset for how to turn designs into successful, top-tier short-term rentals.

- Hours: Ability to work during CST, MST, or PST business hours.
