Nestled along the scenic Bay of Fundy, Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is a full-service Resort serving up East Coast hospitality at its best. With an amazing restaurant, a Stanley Thompson golf course, and amenities galore (did we mention outdoor heated pool), we are dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Server to join our team. You may be placed in either Churchill's/Trophy Room/Grand Lounge and will rotate as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
• Present menus, take orders, and provide information on daily specials.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained during service.
• Upsell menu items, including beverages and add-ons, to enhance guest experience.
• Clear tables efficiently and assist with resetting for the next guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and address any concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling.
• Process payments.
• Keep areas clean, restock supplies, and handle trash/recycling.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Participate in cross-training for the Banquet Server role to support events and functions as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous serving experience (1 year) in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (Banquet shifts will also include evening shifts).
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of breakfast menus and beverages is an asset.
• Serve Right Nova Scotia is required.
• Food Handlers course is required.
