AAA Canada is currently looking for a Senior Structural Assembler in Victoria, B.C. to bring their expertise to our team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in aircraft structures, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently with thin aluminum components using a variety of tools and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the high-quality production of aircraft control surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Assemble new flight controls for the DHC-6 aircraft.
- Perform riveting, dimpling, cutting, shearing, and sealant application.
- Use a range of hand and power tools such as rivet guns, squeezers, dimplers, shears, and sanders.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and detailed work instructions.
- Conduct inspections to verify product quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and workflows.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols
Skills And Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in aircraft structures or a related manufacturing field.
- Proven hands-on experience with aircraft structural assembly, preferably within the aerospace sector.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of aircraft components.
- Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Proficient in using calipers and other precision measuring tools.
- Aerospace background is strongly preferred.
