You will be accountable for growing the business while sustaining consistent profitability.Additional duties will include:Achieve sales, gross profit- and profit-sharing goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Centre TeamDetermine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts and hold the sales team accountable for achieving those goalsAnalyze available financial reports and information; develop and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity and manage assets and expensesBuild relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share and identify new marketsEnsure the Profit Centre meets or exceeds service expectations of customersTake ownership of all marketing plans and purchasing agreementsUnderstand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit CentreSafeguard and maintain all Profit Centre assets – buildings, trucks, equipment, inventory, and receivablesPerform other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager or PresidentQualificationsCollege and/or University degreeA minimum of 3 years of wholesale distribution experienceA minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership roleValid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractProficient in the use of Microsoft Office softwarePossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityDriven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spiritPossess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make sound business judgmentsCreate and nurture a positive team environment, inspiring all teammates to do their best work and to achieve the highest levels of customer and teammate satisfactionStrong desire to strive for operational excellenceUnderstand purchasing and inventory control processes· Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process ordersAbility to learn how to operate material handling equipmentPreferred Skills:Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit CentreKnowledge of the construction industryExperience using M3 or similar Infor SoftwareAdditional InformationSalary Range - $65,000 - $70,000EMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
