Marketing Specialist, Media Campaigns - Hybrid
As the Marketing Specialist, Media Campaigns, you will be reporting to the Supervisor Integrated Channel Marketing, and will be for the development of advertisements and marketing programs in both digital and traditional mediums for Canon’s portfolio of imaging and photo solutions products, while also contributing to the development of creative concepts and ideas that support the business-to-business marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the advertising and marketing programs of Canon’s consumer and B2B products which includes product campaigns, sales event campaigns, and new business initiatives.
- Liaise with media buying and advertising agencies and present plans to manager. Presenting insights from previous campaigns and proposing new tactics based current trends.
- Lead the creation of, and monitor the work back schedules for Canon’s advertising and marketing campaigns. Report on a weekly basis the status of project to managers.
- Lead the B2B sales training events for Canon’s business products, and support the Event Marketing Associate with our consumer product related programs and sponsorships.
- Generate and monitor reports on an ongoing basis to understand the performance of Canon’s marketing and advertising programs and suggest adjustments when necessary, while maintaining organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
- Monitor competitors’ and other Canon global sales companies marketing activities in traditional and non-traditional mediums.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3-years in Marketing experience
- Refined analytical skills are required to receive media and website reports and compare with internal data in order to identify outliers and determine opportunities
- Intermediate experience with Oracle, SharePoint, Meta and Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
- Good time and process management skills
