SMS Equipment is growing! We’re looking for a Labourer to join our Welding Department in Acheson, AB on a 7x7 continuous shift, earning $32.56 per hour plus full benefits. In this role, you’ll support tradespeople with welding-related tasks in a fast-paced shop environment while helping maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Shift: 7x7
Wage: 32.56 per hour plus full benefits and company matching RRSP

Your Role
- Responsible for moving tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas.
- Deliver vehicles and pick-up vehicles from customer sites.
- Perform general shop clean up and equipment/parts cleaning.
- Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
- Steam clean and paint components as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial environment or related trade
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in an industrial or shop environment is an asset
- Forklift and crane operation experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-first mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
Pre-Employment Requirements

- Drug and Alcohol test
- 5 Year Commercial Drivers Abstract
