Position:| Full-Time Security Guard
Site:| Colliers International – West Metro - 195 The West Mall,
Etobicoke, ON M9C 5K1
**Overtime:**Employment Standards Act
**Hours:**Tuesday to Friday (1600-0000), Saturday (1200-0000)
Payrate:| $18.92/hr
**Internal Posting Date:**March 26th, 2026
**Internal****Closing Date:**April 1st, 2026
**External Closing Date:**April 6th, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of Colliers and the Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach
- Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed
- Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly.
- Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public
- Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources
- Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
- Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person
- Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client’s staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required
Prerequisites:
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- 3 Years of experience in security is an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
