Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Work setting: Beauty shop or aesthetic service. Day spa. Spa. Tasks: Body care/treatments. Provide general information to customers on beauty products. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Perform exfoliating body treatment. Apply make-up on customers. Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art. Clean, trim and polish nails. Eyebrow tinting. Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions. Facials. Provide therapeutic foot massage. Maintain and build own clientele. Perform cashiering duties. Provide product demonstrations. Schedule and confirm appointments. Sell establishments products. Manicures. Pedicures. Relaxation massage. Skin care. Waxing. Refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians. Provide customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Esthetician certification. Student status: Full time enrollment. Area of work experience: Cosmetician/cosmetologist. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?.
