Payroll Administrator
About the role
JUST HR is recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing project-based services company with operations supporting workforces in Canada and internationally. With approximately 400 employees across hourly, salaried, and site-based teams, payroll complexity has increased as the business continues to expand. This role is being added to support the Payroll Manager and Director of HR by providing additional capacity, strengthening payroll coverage, and helping ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on schedule. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative HR team in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and teamwork is critical.
Responsibilitie
- sProcess biweekly payroll for a mixed workforce, including hourly and salaried employee
- sSupport payroll administration for employees working at project sites and remote location
- sMaintain accurate employee records in ADP and related system
- sReview payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policie
- sAssist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audit suppor
- tRespond to employee payroll questions in a timely and professional manne
- rPartner closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll deadlines are consistently me
- tHelp improve payroll workflows, documentation, and internal control
- sSupport system updates and upcoming ERP implementatio
- nCoordinate with HR and Finance to ensure employee changes are processed correctl
- yContribute to process improvements as the organization continues to gro
- wMaintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll informatio
nRequirement
- s1- 2 years of recent payroll or related administrative experienc
- eExperience using ADP is require
- dStrong attention to detail and high level of accurac
- yComfortable working in a fast-changing, growing busines
- sAble to stay organized and meet deadlines in a high-volume environmen
- tTeam-oriented with strong communication skill
- sAble to work full-time in office in Vancouve
- rExperience with hourly and salaried payroll is an asse
- tExposure to NetSuite or other ERP systems is an asse
- tPCP designation or working toward PCP is an asse

on$75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus 10% bonus and benefit
