Overview:
The Purchasing and Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and administering the procurement process, including the solicitation of Requests for Proposals/Quotations, evaluation of proposals/ quotations, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services in accordance with project budgets and schedules. This will require a strong understanding of procurement policies and best practices, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. The role will also support in the coordination of all product deliveries, implementation and management of a construction reporting program, as well as preparing and distributing project correspondence and reports, and other duties as assigned, ensuring consistency with company strategy, values, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate equipment and material logistics in accordance with project schedules and supply agreements.

Administer and coordinate the solicitation of Requests for Proposals/Quotations from suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

Facilitate evaluation team meetings and make award recommendations based on the proposal/quotation evaluation process.

Review and ensure consistency of terms and conditions in agreements and purchase orders.
-
Verify the accuracy of invoices received for all projects, ensuring they are within budget and adhere to agreed-upon payment terms.

Track remittances of invoice payments and facilitate account reviews with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
-
Recommend procurement and delivery methods based on specific requirements, procurement policy, and best practices.

Maintain a comprehensive view of bankable equipment suppliers.
-
Maintain a comprehensive view of engineering and construction vendors licensed for work in the geographic location of the company's projects.

Liaise with internal project managers, suppliers, contractors, and vendors on a day-to-day basis to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

Process payments, Purchase Orders, and track costs spent compared to the budget and provide reports on supplier, vendor, and contractor performance.

Prepare regular procurement reports for internal and external stakeholders, with a high degree of accuracy and detail.

Lead regular procurement update meetings.

Lead procurement documentation due diligence, including documentation for financing closings and Independent Engineer reports.

Support with portfolio lessons learned sessions based on construction schedule and budget performance.

Support with compilation of handover documentation for Asset Management team.

Support the Construction and Engineering teams with reliable schedule and cost data.

Other administrative support to EPC team as assigned.

Support in the implementation and management of the construction reporting tool.

Supports effective communication mechanisms within EPC team and whole company for project procurement information.

Maintains a continuous improvement mindset and supports project and portfolio assessments during and after the project as input for business development and project management to ensure future project success.

Contributes to project management best practices in accordance with PureSky values and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager Logistics Manager or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project), SmartSheets, Procore, and NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and able to review and analyze documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws governing procurement processes.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with solar and BESS equipment procurement preferred
- Advanced scheduling, planning and document control expertise.
- Strong understanding of and prior experience in the procurement of equipment and materials from international suppliers for renewable projects is required.

- Excellent planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel occasionally to project locations within Canada and the US.

Compensation:
Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 CAD
Bonus: 15% of annual salary

Overview:
