Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Director, People Systems and Analytics, you will lead the systems, data, and processes that power our global People & Culture (P&C) function. Reporting to the VP, Global People Operations, you will evolve the digital foundations of our People function—transforming systems, insights, and service delivery so P&C can deliver scalable, digital-first solutions that help our people and business thrive.
You will oversee three core areas: People Systems, People Analytics & Automation, and Process & Service Delivery. By connecting these capabilities, you will establish trusted data and insights, streamline and scale processes, and create intuitive, tech-enabled experiences for our people.
In this role, you will:
- Modernize and scale the employee experience through intuitive, digital-first tools.
- Reimagine global P&C processes to support growth across regions and functions, in partnership with the People and Culture Leadership Team (PCLT)
- Advance people analytics and automation capabilities to drive efficiency and data-informed decision-making.
- Build a scalable, agile, and future-ready P&C function that meets the evolving needs of our global organization.
You will partner with regional teams (NAM, EMEA, APAC), our parent company Amer Sports, and senior business and functional leaders to shape a P&C digital strategy that is globally consistent yet locally adaptable. From strengthening system and data foundations to delivering seamless, tech-enabled service experiences, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital maturity.

- Setting the P&C Digital Strategy: Delivering a multi-year roadmap for systems, analytics, and service delivery—strengthening platforms, expanding automation, driving efficiency, and embedding insights into decision-making
- Enhancing People Systems: Leading the Workday reimplementation and optimizing the broader systems ecosystem. Ensuring strong governance, seamless integrations, and user-focused design that improves data quality, security, and the overall experience for our people
- Enabling Operational Excellence: Designing and scaling global P&C processes and service models that drive efficiency, consistency, and compliance, enabling P&C teams to focus on higher-value work
- Advancing People Analytics & Data Governance: Building a People Data Lake, scale self-service dashboards and predictive analytics, and embed governance frameworks that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and responsible use
- Driving Digital Innovation & Adoption: Identifying and deploying emerging HR technologies and AI-enabled solutions that automate work and enhance employee experience. Leading change management and adoption strategies to maximize impact
- Developing Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with P&C, Finance, Technology, Amer Sports, and business leaders globally to align digital solutions with business priorities, strengthen cross-functional ways of working, and amplify collective impact
- Leading and Growing a High-Performing Team: Building and empowering a diverse, high-performing team across systems, analytics, and service delivery. Fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Scaling P&C Impact: Positioning digital as a key enabler of P&C’s long-term strategic plan, using tools, insights, and delivery to evolve people practices and accelerate future-ready ways of working

- You have 12+ years of experience in people systems, analytics, and/or digital HR operations, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- You have a degree or diploma in HR, Business, Technology, Data, or a related field—or equivalent experience
- You have proven success shaping and delivering global systems, analytics, and operational strategies
- You have a deep expertise in HCM systems (Workday), data governance, process optimization, and analytics, with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes
- You have a t track record of building and scaling high-performing, inclusive teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration across regions
- You have experience leading digital HR transformations and driving adoption across complex organizations
- You have strong problem-solving skills, balancing long-term strategic vision with practical execution to deliver results at speed
- You have exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence in a highly collaborative environment

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$181,000 - CAD$249,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
