Note: This is a full-time and on-call position based in London, ON. Reporting directly reporting to the Facilities Supervisor; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.

COMPANY INTRODUCTION

Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.

JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our Ontario Men’s Centre is looking for a full-time Custodial Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the Custodial Coordinator is to perform general cleaning duties within an office and rehabilitation setting, while providing supervision of students assigned to daily custodial work therapy duties. Responsibilities include: the utilization of all necessary cleaning materials and equipment to perform various daily cleaning tasks, perform seasonal tasks as needed, including pool maintenance, removal of snow or debris from sidewalks and parking lots, ensure all necessary health and safety standards are adhered to in their entirety, report any health and safety concerns to appropriate personnel, dispose of refuse and oversee sanitization of work area, utilize necessary PPE and adhere to WHMIS and SDS where applicable.

Teen Challenge Canada has been serving men and women experiencing addiction, through our 12-month faith-based program, for over 50 years. What started as a coffee house outreach in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, has grown to nine drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation centres across five provinces.

Through Teen Challenge Canada's yearlong, in-residence, drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, men and women 18 years and older in addiction, are given the time they need to heal. The program offers comprehensive training that helps equip individuals with the tools to maintain their sobriety and return to their families and friends substance-free.
