Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Recruitment Officer to join our Human Resources team. You will play an essential role in the company's growth by identifying, attracting, and selecting the best talent for our projects in Canada and internationally. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle for various positions (technicians, electricians, operators, administrative staff, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with department directors to understand the specific needs of each team.
  • Develop and publish attractive job offers on various platforms (job sites, social media, schools, etc.).
  • Source passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and other specialized tools.
  • Conduct interviews (phone and in-person) and/or provide assistance and support to directors in evaluating candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate in the negotiation discussions for employment conditions, draft salary offers, and ensure the complete follow-up of the hiring process.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database.
  • Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and employer branding activities.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • DEC or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, or any relevant field.
  • Significant experience (3 years and more) in recruitment, ideally in the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, is essential.
  • Proficiency in sourcing techniques and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Autonomy, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage a high volume of files.
  • Proactivity, creativity, and a keen sense of initiative.
