Tech Specialist Warehouse
About the role
Comec is looking to add to our growing warehouse staff. We are looking for individuals that can work with our client in their warehouse on site. The position would be working hand in hand with the client daily, as well as working with them on other warehousing duties as needed. We are looking for a highly skilled warehouse tech with experience in all aspects on an Oil and gas facility and attention to detail.
The position is a 7 on and 7 off shifts. Camp work, 80 hours per shift. OT eligible with approval.
Qualifications include:

Oil and gas industry warehousing experience an asset.

Experience in receiving materials for Oil and Gas producers.

The client uses SAP on site. experience is an asset
-
Warehousing or procurement back ground.

Understanding of Quality Control receiving processes.
-
Driver’s license. (mandatory)

Fort lift experience (ticket mandatory before access to site)
-
H2S, WHIMS, first aid, CSTS 2020, site orientations. Any specific training in regards warehousing or SAP are an asset.

H2S Alive, 1st Aid, TDG, WHMIS mandatory

Working conditions
- Able and willing to work long hours
- Able to repeatedly lift and load supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in northern Alberta weather conditions if required.
