About the role
We are currently looking for a passionate and professional Office Administrator to join our team.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for performing various administrative functions within the areas of accounting, payroll, human resources and office administration for the Golden Town Apple Products facility.
Golden Town Apple Products (a division of A. Lassonde Inc.) is an apple juice production facility located in the beautiful Blue Mountains region of the Georgian Bay, in Ontario. The plant processes farm fresh apples into apple juice destined for further processing. We have a dedicated and dynamic team that work together to achieve targeted objectives. Job advantages

Key activities
-
Reception & Office Support:
-
Manage front-line communications, including phone calls, visitors, and contractors.
-
Maintain a professional reception area and oversee mail, courier packages, and samples.
-
Support scheduling of meetings and coordination of social events.

Administrative & Operational Functions:
-
Oversee office supplies and equipment.
-
Prepare export/import documentation and liaise with corporate IT on equipment and systems.
-
Finance & Payroll:
-
Handle accounts receivable/payable and related reception program tasks.
-
Handle general payroll functions including timecards, vacation/attendance tracking, inquiries, and reporting.
-
Human Resources:
-
Support divisional HR activities: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, training, employee relations, policy implementation, and WSIB filing.
-
Act as liaison with the corporate HR team and maintain personnel and training records.
-
Prepare various employee communication notices.
Required Training And Experience
- High school diploma (Grade 12).
- Post-secondary studies in administration (strong asset).
- 2-3 years’ experience in administration (accounting, HR, payroll or office).
