About the role

Full Job Description

Currently seeking Registered Psychotherapist to provide couples, family, and/or individual therapy. This is a virtual position, with potential for in-person work in Barrie, Ontario. We encourage candidates from across Ontario to apply. Registration with the CRPO is required. We invite both experienced therapists and newly graduated students to apply.

Who You Are

Have a high value for helping people build and repair relationships; knowing that personhood flourishes when we are engaged in loving, safe, and secure relationships. Master’s degree in psychotherapy or counselling and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a registered psychotherapist with the CRPO. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and respond to clients’ emotional needs.

Understanding and adherence to professional ethics

Ability to work with diverse populations and understand how cultural factors influence mental health. Ability to work with clients from a Christian Faith perspective a benefit. Specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFIT, EFCT, EFFT) strongly encouraged. Fluent in English. Professional Liability Insurance.
