About the role
Juniper Midwives is seeking a Registered Midwife for a one-year locum position beginning January 1, 2026 (or earlier).
Our practice is located in the vibrant Beltline community of Calgary and offers a supported solo model. We value work–life balance and provide equitable time off.
We support home and hospital births, with access to the Arbour Birth Centre, and are fully supported by administrative staff for intakes and billing. Clinical documentation is completed in Accuro EMR.
Juniper Midwives is deeply committed to providing safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful care. We are honoured to serve many Indigenous families and strongly encourage applications from Indigenous midwives. A permanent, full-time position may be available for an Indigenous midwife wishing to join our team long-term. For those relocating to Calgary, we can help make your move easier with a fully furnished rental.
