About the Role The role will support our Respiratory portfolio covering the Trois-Rivieres territory and be accountable for generating incremental sales, increasing market share and profitability results. This will be achieved by building extraordinary relationships with pre-defined customers, including Pediatricians, Respirologists, GP’s, Pharmacists, and otolaryngologists.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, you will develop and manage relationships with targeted key influencers and applicable centers/clinics to promote awareness and educate HCPs about the clinical benefits for Alvesco and Omnaris. You will develop a clear understanding of these products and their competition. You are accountable for achieving territory sales targets and objectives as a contribution to the region. You will also implement CHE (Continuing Health Education) programs within your territory. You will report on key metrics as required, e.g. sales successes/challenges and enter client calls and relevant customer information in a timely manner while adhering to all relevant Company policies, procedures and legislation while operating within specified expense budgets. You will attend trade shows as well as needed. Lastly, you will be responsible for reporting adverse events (AEs) associated with Company products.
Required Skills And Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in pharmaceutical, science or related field or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred.
- Previous Pharmaceutical sales experience is required. Experience with respiratory products is highly preferred.
- Strong recent track record of success selling in the assigned territory.
- Excellent time and territory management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing detailing schedule based on potential return on investment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills in making professional presentations and facilitating education seminars.
- Computer literate with intermediate experience in MS Excel (spreadsheets), MS Power Point. (presentations), MS Word (word processing) and other MS applications and databases.
- Experience building strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling.
- Exposure to scientific environment and ability to discuss matters within a scientific context.
- Consistently demonstrated over-achievement of sales objectives.
- High level of self-motivation and proven ability to work as a home-based sales professional.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience pharmaceutical representative with proven track record with GD and specialist on the Trois-Rivieres territory.
