As our Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Gateway’s digital transformation; developing and executing data-driven strategies that elevate our brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. Reporting to the Director, Portfolio & Partnerships, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring bold ideas to life bridging creativity and analytics to deliver meaningful, experience-driven marketing across our platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing plans and budgets aligned with business goals
- Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns (web, email, SEO/SEM, social) to drive awareness, leads, and conversions
- Create compelling, channel-specific content that communicates value propositions and enhances engagement
- Build and manage marketing automation and email programs that nurture audiences and improve conversion
- Track and report on campaign performance with insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization
- Deliver digital product projects such as new platform builds, feature updates, and marketing tool integrations
- Collaborate with agencies and internal partners to deliver programs on time, on budget, and aligned to objectives
- Build supporting assets such as training materials, launch decks, and user documentation to ensure adoption across teams.
- Focus primarily on B2B marketing initiatives that engage and enable veterinary and partner audiences, with selective B2C support for consumer-facing programs and digital experiences.
- Monitor performance and user feedback to guide continuous improvement.
- Lead select product and portfolio initiatives from concept to launch, including new product introductions and process improvements
Sales Enablement & Digital Transformation
- Lead the shift from printed sales materials to digital-first tools and experiences
- Develop engaging video content, e-learning modules, and interactive resources for sales teams and hospital partners
- Implement digital catalogs, customizable templates, and mobile-ready platforms to reduce print dependency
Technology & Platforms
- Leverage and optimize tools including Google Analytics, Ads, Hootsuite, PIMs, survey platforms (NPS, CSAT etc.), Salesforce CRM, Account Engagement, and Translation Management systems
- Manage SEO and PPC programs to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional & Strategic Projects
- Partner across teams to identify opportunities, define scope, and manage projects through delivery
- Develop presentations, documentation, and reports to support leadership visibility and decision-making
- Facilitate sales enablement through webinars, product training, and feedback loops between Sales, Operations, and Customers
Other
- Support annual digital marketing budget and vendor management
- Occasional travel may be required
Education, Training & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital, growth, or product marketing
- Proven experience with A/B testing, marketing analytics, and data storytelling
- Strong background in project and partner management
- Familiarity with the pet or veterinary industry is an asset
- Understanding of design principles and tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to support content creation and digital asset management.
